My research interest derives from the field STS (Science-Technology-Studies). Based on work in ELSA (ethical, legal and social aspects) Research of Genomics, lately my research has additionaly focused on Gender- identity, -roles, -balance, – in educational settings, -diversity. Furthermore my media education has broadened my research focus towards Science-to-Public communication, particularly on publishing research results and raising awareness for eg. on youths use of new technological tools in various (social) media channels. Methodology in Gender- and Media- research has been a common thread throughout my past research and lecture activities.
